A number of users are reporting that Microsoft Outlook crashes when users read certain emails and other problems associated with a recently released Microsoft Security Patch.
A security update released by Microsoft on November 10, 2015 (KB3097877) is causing a number of problems for Windows users. In particular, Microsoft Outlook users are reporting that the application crashes when reading certain emails. In addition, Microsoft has acknowledged that the update is causing logon problems when users restart their computers.
Security Update Reissued by Microsoft
Microsoft has reissued the security update (KB3097877) to address the Outlook and logon difficulties caused by the November 10 security update.
